| I started being interested in genealogy 30 years ago. I especially want to thank my parents. My Mother passed away December 26, 2000. This is my Parents wedding picture. |

| Welcome. I like genealogy. One evening I decided we needed a web site. The main family lines are Renaud, Regnier, Ponton and Emerson. Our Renaud Canadian ancestors migrated to Kankakee and Iroquois Counties in Illinois in about 1843. The death records for Maternity B. V. M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais (then part of Will County) now Kankakee County, Illinois shows Renaud death records as early as 1853. The first Papineau Township Iroquois County Illinois Road Commissioners Book shows Renaud living on the second road established , named the Renaud Road. The bridge crossing Big Beaver Creek was named the Renaud bridge. The Regnier and Ponton by 1860. The Emerson's migrated to Illinois in about 1840. |
