My personal story begins years ago, living on the fast track, with Eastern Airlines. My job happened to be one of those that is best described as consuming, and often overwhelming. As a member of Staff, I was required to travel to five cities in five days, do the required inspections and be ready to report to upper members of management on every Friday afternoon on a week to week basis. Simply put, family matters and personal preferences had to wait, which left much to be desired.
In June of 1985, I was hospitalized for minor prostate surgery and micro surgery on my left knee joint, which was now inflamed to the point I could not perform. This was the result of an old football injury and had previously undergone two major surgeries years prior and acute arthritis had set in. At this point, the Doctor who specialized in joint surgery explained that while this minor surgery was at best, transient relief, knee joint deterioration had occurred to the point that artificial replacement would be required within four years.
As I continued to struggle with OTC pain killers, and several prescription drugs in efforts to get as much mileage as possible before another surgery, my family physician (an MD and author of medical books -- held in the highest respect) continued to see me with persistent regularity because of other problems such as prostate, hypertension, migraines and recurring skin disorders. Because of occasional dizzy spells, and skin disorders that would not properly heal, checks for diabetes were undertaken with always the result as "borderline".
Finally in July of 1994, in an effort to avoid a long office wait at my family doctor's office, I decided to see another doctor. To make a long story short, the results were "congratulations Floyd, you now have diabetes"!! My fine family physician, who was held in the highest esteem by all, had misdiagnosed for at least 10 years my medical condition, with the medical warnings present, not to mention a preventative protocol of treatment. Additionally, I had "proteinuria", a condition indicating kidney damage that occurs after the onset of diabetes, normally in the range of 11 - 13 years. Thus my search began for a self help approach to treating my medical problems naturally, as it became obvious to me that I could not depend up the conventional medical establishment to adequately find a solution. This is a disgrace and a sham in the realm of conventional wisdom.
This brought me to the internet where I embarked upon a self educating effort to treat my condition. Already into the quality vitamin formulations for diabetics with other specific supplements and compounds added, I also began using a generic brand of "Pycnogenol" in grape seed extract. I had also received an audio tape that I had requested from an internet source where these 13 doctors explained the benefits of the original Horphag compound Pycnogenol®. I quickly passed off the audio as just so much hype, not real results, an advertising scam, if you will. My internet explorations then took me to health chat rooms on the internet and I quickly settled into a group called "the Health Spa", as some good advise occasionally leaks through all the bravado. This is where I met a young lady called "Candy Cane", a nice gal who surfaced as being up on nutritional subjects, and well versed on the subject of Pycnogenol®.
As chat progressed in the room over a period of time, I became engaged in conversation with Candy over Pycnogenol generics such as "grape seed extract" and how much more powerful an antioxidant it was over the Pycnogenol® original brand. Candy attempted to explain how the compound Pycnogenol® from Kaire specifically might better affect my immune system and alleviate some of the problems diabetics are commonly faced with as well as many other problems. However, I was somewhat tenacious and did not hear her plea or efforts to help me because I could not get past the, "she's trying to sell me something syndrome", as this is where my limited wisdom took me. With the progression of time and my many episodes of my attempts to harass her in front of god and the world, I concluded that first: she remained continuously persistent in her faith of the product. Secondly: maybe, just maybe there was a bit of validity in what she was saying.
As time passed, I began to realize that my disease (diabetes) was really beginning to take its toll on my body. Sugar glucose counts were very high, then over medicated and too low. I no longer had much feeling in my feet and they constantly felt cold with that tingling sensation from poor circulation and nerve damage, arthritis in my lower back, knees and elbows, I still had migraine headaches, my blood pressure was high in spite of medication, and I now had diviticulitis with hemorrhaging. In December 1997 I was hospitalized for this infection along with the complications of diabetes. I was hospitalized again in January 1998 for the same reason, all while taking heavy doses of quality vitamin supplements, in addition to a standard generic OTC pycnogenol product, which I had been taking for over a year. At this time, I also learned that a drug prescribed for my bad arthritic knee should never have been administered over long term, as one of it's side effects caused liver damage. In short, thanks to modern conventional medicine, I was headed for some real trouble!
After all this I finally concluded, well why not, Candy's Pycnogenol® is expensive but guaranteed, it certainly can't hurt me, so okay, I will give it a try. Something was obviously missing in my program and I began to realize that I had to do something different than what I was doing. I knew that I needed something extra. After my expensive hospital stay ($3,000 per day), I decided to go on Candy's Pycnogenol® & MSM from Kaire International in addition to the quality vitamins I was already taking. I had been on Pycnogenol® for about 3 weeks along with MSM (a fairly new natural sulfur compound distributed by Kaire International).. For me, at this point in time, this combination was already showing signs of efficacy. I soon added Aloe Vera and Shark liver oil for additional support. My stiff neck had disappeared, leg cramps gone, with absolutely no pain, inflammation, or swelling of knee joints. I have had no further instances of swollen feet and now have good feeling in my lower extremities with increased circulation. In addition, low back pain has nearly disappeared. My lower intestinal track has cleared up and my glucose sugar count as well as blood pressure numbers are completely stable and I no longer experience the extreme high or low numbers. At this point in time, (3) three months after my hospital encounter, of the (6) six prescriptions I was initially taking, costing roughly $450 per month, I remain on (3) three - a 50% reduction in pharmaceuticals. After all, I am 64, so without any doubt my family and I are both happy and amazed to be making this kind of progress with Kaire products.
It goes without saying that Candy's persistence has changed my life forever, perhaps to the point of saving my life and I am indeed grateful for all her efforts. My entire family has become involved because they have seen the progress I personally have made. Many of their friends who are in need -- from cancer to the common cold -- have felt the impact of Pycnogenol® and indirectly, Candy's efforts. A humble "thank you" to you, Candy!!

HEHEHE!! Now it is my turn to tell everyone my side of the story!! Nothing could have made me any happier than the day that I met Floyd Dickinson in the "Enchanted Forest". I had chatted in the "Health Spa" many times with Floyd. Of course you have to remember that he was giving me a hard time about naming a "certain" brand of Pycnogenol® that was far better than any other on the market as far as I was concerned. But you see, he had never heard any of the stories that I was about to tell him.
So on that cold day in January, I started to tell Floyd the story of my daughter Heather and her brain tumor. By the time that I was finished, Floyd had already changed his mind to try the Kaire brand of Pycnogenol®. I was so excited that finally this man was going to see some amazing changes in his health. There never was a doubt in my mind that he would get anything but astounding changes in his health. He even threatened to kick my butt all the way back to Illinois if it didn't work. Well, I knew that day would never come. I also told Floyd two or three other stories that day, and Floyd was totally amazed at the stories of people that I had helped.
The most exciting time was, however, when everyday Floyd came online after starting the products. Everyday something else was getting better. There were times when I was giggling and laughing so hard that I couldn't hardly see the text on the screen.
I have been with other nutritional companies. I have worked with nutritional supplements for over 25 years. No other company has given me the wonderful satisfaction of helping people with their health that Kaire has. I am not into these companies for the financial gain. I am there only with a very strong dedication to help people to gain better health.

Special Note: We lost Floyd on November 30th, 2001, which saddened me very much. But please note, he was misdiagnosed by his medical doctors for 10 years, as he stated above in his testimonial. The nutritional supplements that floyd took after he met me, improved his quality of life a great deal and I am sure that they gave him added years of life. This is why it is so important to make sure that your immune system is in good working condition. I cannot stress this point enough. The food supplements that floyd took, changed his quality of life by a great deal. Brands and formulations of food supplements make a big difference also. Don't give up on a particular supplement, if the first one doesn't work. It is possible you don't have a good brand or formulation! Up until the very end of Floyd's life, he was still looking and searching for the right combination. He was a firm believer in nature's miracles and he also knew he had made some very wrong decisions on medical treatments, that he gave his medical doctor's permission to do. If you get favorable results with a food supplement that you try, do not stop taking that food supplement when you get better. If your body responded to the supplement, this means your body needed that supplement! We need to feed our bodies for our bodies to survive and function properly. If you take away a nutrient that your body needs, your body is going to rebel.
Floyd and I relayed the above information to many, many people. We both helped many during the 4 years that Floyd and I were friends. Towards the end of Floyd's life, he relayed to me that he wanted me to keep helping people, as I had helped him. I remain very dedicated to that, as it is my strongest goal in life as it was Floyd's goal also. Please, please, take good care of your bodies, it may mean your life!
